Every Fujifilm body can share recipes through FujiShare, because every Fujifilm JPEG carries its recipe inside the file. How far the app can go with the camera itself depends on the body, and there are three groups. The app tells you which group yours is in the moment you connect it, before anything is written.
X100V, X100VI, X-T5, X-T50, X-E5, X-M5, X-T30 III, X-S20, X-H2, X-H2S.
These bodies offer their recipe banks over the USB connection mode Fujifilm labels USB RAW CONV./BACKUP RESTORE. FujiShare reads what your body offers before it writes, writes each setting on its own, and reads every one back to verify it. When the app says a recipe is on your camera, it is.
X-T4, X-T3, X-T30, X-T30 II, X-Pro3, X-S10, X-E4, X-T2, X-T20, X-Pro2, X-E3, X100F, X-H1.
These bodies store custom banks, but they do not offer them to a phone over USB, so FujiShare cannot write to them over the cable. Photos come off the card and a recipe reads from any photo. They do have a settings backup function, and a wireless route through it is being built. It will appear on this page when it works, not before.
The X-A line, X-T100, X-T200, XF10, X70, X-T10, X-E2S, X half, X100, X100S, X100T, X-Pro1, X-E1, X-E2, X-M1, X-T1.
No backup or restore function and no USB mode for it, so there is no door for a phone to write through, over cable or wireless. No app can change that. Recipes from their photos work exactly as on any other body.
GFX bodies read photos and recipes from photos. Writing to GFX banks is untested. The newest GFX bodies share their processor with the X-Processor 5 cameras above and will be confirmed the same way, by owners connecting them.
Wireless is for photos: pair once over Bluetooth and your newest shots come off the card with no cable. It needs a Bluetooth radio, so the X-T2, X-Pro2, X-T20, X100F, X-E2S, X-T10, X70 and GFX 50S stay on the cable for photos. Pairing works on the X100V generation today and is being added for the newest bodies, which advertise in a newer format. Recipes always travel over USB.
Older bodies have fewer settings: no grain, Color Chrome or Clarity on earlier generations, fewer film simulations further back. FujiShare translates a recipe to what your body has and shows you the difference before writing. It writes only values whose encoding has been measured on that model. A value it has not measured is left out and named, never guessed.
Plug in. The app reads what the camera offers and shows you which group it is in before anything is written. If what it shows disagrees with this page, email support@fujishare.com; this page is corrected fast, and it is updated as the beta reports come in.
